What a tasty way to serve greens!
Cut broccoli into bite-size florets. Peel stems and cut in half lengthwise, then slice into 1-inch-long pieces. Heat oil in a large skillet. When hot, add onion and sprinkle lightly with salt. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, just until onion is soft. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute, then add capers and prepared broccoli and sprinkle with a little more salt to taste. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
